These Sunday afternoon concerts will follow State and CDC guidelines and be without intermissions.  Seating will be safely spaced.  We will require all attendees be fully vaccinated or show proof of a negative COVID 19 test at each performance.

After our last indoor, live concert on March 1, 2020, just days before the shut-down, (that was the concert with soprano Charlotte Dobbs, bass baritone Andrew Padgett and pianist Renana Gutnman), we presented two live, outdoor concerts – June 2020 in the Pine Pavilion at SPAC with Ashley Bathgate and another at Pitney Community Farm in September 2021 with our wonderful Artistic Director Jill Levy, violist Sarah Adams, cellist Eliot Bailen and flutist Susan Rotholz.  We hope you were with us then.

Between those live concerts Jill also arranged for two streamed concerts last winter which you can still access.  Jill performed a program at the Strand with Ashley.  Here’s the link to that concert: https://www.youtube.com.saratoga%20chamber%20 playershttps://www.youtube.com.saratoga%20chamber%20 players.  The program included works of Bach,Andrew Norman, Saariaho and Ravel

And here’s the link to see and hear the concert of music of Beethoven and Boulogne that Jill Levy, violin and Margaret Kampmeier, piano, recorded at the Troy Music Hall: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBN5IB7CubXPsx_A7tFinMw

The pandemic did halt our “Classroom to Concert” program at Division Street under the able guidance of cellist/guitarist Eliot Bailen, but we expect to restart that as soon as health advisories in the schools become clearer.

AND NOW for more exciting news.  Ashley Bathgate and Nancy Clark-Krauss have joined the board under the capable leadership of Paty Rubio as President. – (She’s the one who single-handedly put together the fun 9-hole scramble golf event with such success and the help of board members Anny Holgate, Deb Possidente, and Lisa Aronson). We now have the very, very capable Cheryl Hoffman as our Treasurer and Brigid Dake continues to serve, as well as Executive Director Lynne Gelber.  We look forward to seeing you in person soon.  Should you have questions for us, please contact Lynne at:  ed@saratogachamberplayers.org
