John Feeney is principal bass of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and a member of the St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble. He is a member of the Smithsonian Chamber Players and the Grand Tour Orchestra, a period instrument group, and can be heard frequently playing chamber music in NYC’s major venues and festivals throughout the U.S. and Europe.read more
Pianist Julia Hamos performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, notably in Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center and at the Liszt Academy in Budapest.read more
Krista is concertmaster of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and has been a member of St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble since 1983. She has soloed several times with the San Francisco Symphony (debuting in the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto at age 15), and with the St. Louis Symphony and Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra.read more
Michael Roth, violin and viola is currently associate concertmaster of the New York City Ballet Orchestra. He has appeared in chamber music and as a soloist with the company.
He was concertmaster of the Vermont Mozart Festival Orchestra for many years and has played and toured internationally with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and the New York Chamber Soloists.
A graduate of New York’s Mannes College, Paul Suits moved early to Europe, where he enjoys a multiple career as collaborative pianist, composer, and teacher, with posts at Basel’s Hochschule für Musik (vocal coach) and at Zurich’s Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (score-reading). His compositions include operas, songs, piano music and choral works, e.g. jüngst und einst (2001) commissioned by the Basler Bach-Chor and his music to Rilke’s Die Weise von Liebe und Tod des Cornets Christoph Rilke (2017), a commission of the vokalensemble larynx. He is currently writing a book on score-reading.read more
Susan Rotholz was winner of Young Concert Artists with Hexagon Piano and Winds and of Concert Artists Guild. In demand as a soloist, Susan is also Principal flute of the Greenwich Symphony and The New York Chamber Ensemble and a member of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, The New York Pops and the Little Orchestra Society.read more
